Connecting Local Hands with Local Work

KAAMANI (derived from the Bodo word for work) is a simple, mobile-first marketplace built to make finding work and hiring workers straightforward, honest, and direct.

🌱Our Roots in Bijni, Assam

In vibrant towns like Bijni, skilled workers—masons, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, agricultural labourers, and drivers—often rely on word-of-mouth or waiting at daily labour points. At the same time, households, farmers, and local businesses struggle to find reliable workers when they need them most.

KAAMANI bridges this gap with a lightweight digital directory and board designed for smartphones and simple mobile connections.

🎯Our Principles

  • 100% Direct Contact: No middleman fees, commissions, or app locks. Seekers and providers connect directly via phone call or WhatsApp.
  • Simplicity First: Built with minimal clutter and clear language so anyone can use it without prior technical training.
  • Safety & Trust: Promoting direct wage agreements and transparent communication within our local communities.
